The Steps of InLei® Brow Lamination
We regularly receive questions about the steps of the InLei® Brow Lamination.
These steps are always available for download on the product pages, but in this blog we want to describe them more extensively and clearly.
1. Analyze the eyebrows
Check the eyebrows and surrounding skin for any signs of issues, such as itching, redness, sores, or irritation. These are contraindications and must not be present before starting the treatment.
2. Clean the eyebrows
Clean the eyebrows and the surrounding skin with InLei®’s Delicate Foaming Cleanser, then use Saline to thoroughly degrease the eyebrows.
Allow to dry completely. Saline removes all sebum from the hairs, which is essential for achieving optimal treatment results.
3. Brush the eyebrows into shape
Comb or brush the eyebrows in the desired direction. The hairs should never exceed an angle of 65 degrees from their natural growth. This is important for the following steps to avoid breaking the hairs.
4. Apply InLei® Brow Lift #1
Apply InLei® Brow Lift #1 in an even layer over the entire eyebrow using a clean brush. Make sure all hairs are fully and evenly covered with the lotion.
5. Processing times
Fine hair: 4–6 minutes
Medium hair: 6–8 minutes
Thick hair: 8–10 minutes
Extremely stiff and thick hair: 10–12 minutes
During the processing time, you can check if the lotion has worked sufficiently. The hairs should become very flexible and bend easily. If they still bend with difficulty and feel as stiff as before the treatment, leave the product on a little longer.
After the processing time, remove all residue with a dry cotton pad.
6. Shape the eyebrows (if necessary)
Shape the eyebrows using InLei® Mister Fix and a small brush or comb. Avoid creating gaps and change the hair direction carefully. Do not bend hairs beyond 65 degrees from their natural growth.
For stiff brows or brows with multiple hair directions that do not naturally stay in place after Lotion #1, we recommend using InLei® Mister Fix. This is a special skin-safe glue that helps fix the eyebrows before applying Step 2. Only a thin layer is needed.
7. Apply InLei® Brow Lock #2
Apply InLei® Brow Lock #2 in a thin layer in the same way as Lift #1. Allow it to process for half the time of the first product plus 2 minutes.
Remove the product with a lightly moistened cotton pad at the end of the processing time.
8. Tint the eyebrows
Mix the tint in a 1:1 ratio with Developer Cream 1.5% (5 Vol.) cream oxidant. Apply the tint in the desired shape and leave it on for 6–10 minutes.
Remove with a moistened cotton pad. Note: after a brow lamination, the tint penetrates faster, so the processing time may be shorter than usual.
9. Remove excess hairs
Remove any excess hairs with wax or tweezers for a clean finish.
10. Apply InLei® Brow Bomber #3
Brush the eyebrows with a clean brush and apply a small amount of InLei® Brow Bomber #3 using a brush. Leave it on for 5 minutes.
This product does not need to be removed, but if there is too much, gently blot with a tissue.
Important! Nut allergy is a contraindication for the final step browbomber no. 3
